Yes. The Los Glaciares National Park entrance fee (currently around 50,000 ARS for non-resident adults) must be paid separately. Tour operators do not include this in the ticket price.
All boat tours depart from Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 to 50 kilometers from El Calafate on Lake Argentino.
Yes. If you have a rental car, you can drive to Puerto Punta Bandera via RP 11 and RP 8. Parking is available at the port.

Well organized. Very timely with pickup. Great views and a good lunch. Would definitely recommend to all ages.
An efficient operation from the time we were collected at our hotel (we bought the gourmet plus transfers package), bused to the port, cruised Lake Argentina, walked ashore on an uninhabited island (except for the feral cows) and provided with ample time to photograph the glaciers
